Nasolabial Folds

The nasolabial fold is the crease that starts from the corner of the nose and runs diagonally down the the corner of the mouth. With age, the fold becomes deeper and forms a shadow that can make the face look tired. Nasolabial folds can be treated using dermal filler or threads to smooth the fold and reduce the shadow. When using dermal fillers, we have two key approaches to treating the nasolabial folds. The first approach is to lift dropping cheeks by injecting filler along the cheekbone; this helps to lift the heavy skin that forms the nasolabial fold.
